| The
Holy Name Society is most grateful to Our Lord for the success of
last year’s initiatives, and the members of the Society voted unanimously to
sponsor an evening of recollection again this year. Below is a partial listing of
the initiatives for this year. A complete list will be posted when
finalized.

One Evening of Recollection for the men of the parish will be
held using the same format as last year: lessons from scripture,
hymn/psalm response, sermon, rosary, and benediction. The evening
will be scheduled for a Saturday in Lent.
Men's
Lenten Evening
of Recollection
A Men's Lenten Evening of
Recollection is scheduled for Saturday evening, March 8, at 6:00 PM
in the upper church. The Evening of Recollection will be led by
Father David Taurasi. The
E/R will consist of Lenten prayers, hymns, and Psalms, a Lenten reflection
delivered by Father Taurasi, the recitation of the Holy Rosary, and
Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament. Light refreshments will
be served at the conclusion of the E/R in the Cardinal Medeiros Center.
